So the purpose of this meme is to give a little info on your muses without having to rely on others to fill your ask with meme questions. I know how disappointing it can be to come back to an empty ask so I wanted to create a meme that anyone and everyone can do (mun and muse). The rules are simple, you do not need to be tagged to fill out the questions, but once you have you must re-post and tag 10 of your followersto spread the love. You can fill it out as many times as your heart desires (we all know muses can change with their character development.)

’ juvia is going to assume this means what she likes in a person …. which is kindness, empathy, and passion! juvia finds those traits very admirable. ‘

’ juvia … is a bit uncomfortable with this question. ‘ ( she’s asexual though )

’ well, juvia used to like sleeping on her stomach. but now, since she can’t without it being uncomfortable, she likes sleeping on whatever side the pillow is coldest. ‘

‘ well …. if it was a war, i’d have to refuse. juvia’s learned that fairy tail doesn’t give up, no matter what. but if it was a silly game, like cards or charades, she’d have to question why, and see if it was worth it! ‘

‘ er, well …. juvia is afraid of spiders? ‘ as well as abandonment, isolation, the dark, thunder, and jose. but those weren’t as important, right?

juvia lockser’s birthday lands on none other than february 14th. you’d think, on the day of ‘love’, she’d be more excited about the date. she’s not. instead, it’s more likely she will hide out on the day to avoid anyone questioning her about confessing and/or her birthday itself. ( not that she’s told anyone about it. )
reasons why juvia hates her birthday / valentines day are as follows:
in the orphanage it just reminded her of one more year she had spent alone without a family
upon finding out valentines day was a thing ( she was around seven ), she confessed to another boy in the orphanage and watched as he ripped her heartfelt card to shreds before telling her she would “never be liked since she was so gloomy and unlucky”
one year the girls in the orphanage sent her a fake valentines day letter and then proceeded to laugh at her when she waited under a tree for an hour in the rain for an imaginary boy
when she dated bora for the brief period of time, he had the audacity to break up with her on valentines day.
she doesn’t understand why people only need one specific day to confess their love, instead of them being able to express it any time they want
these ( as well as many things ) are the reasons she usually hides away on the ‘day of love’. most times she takes jobs, but if she cannot find one to her liking, she’ll hide out in her dorm at fairy hills.

the reason juvia is quick to tense around others ( other than the obvious ‘isolation as a child’ portion of her life that scarred her and made her wary of others’ kindness ) is because back in her days at PHANTOM LORD, juvia was taught by master jose that she should always be on her guard, otherwise she was as good as dead. ( this lesson was at first not followed, but juvia quickly fused the information into her brain once jose purposely sent ‘ambushers’ after her on a solo job, where she found herself with a sword to her throat until she promised to be on guard one hundred percent of the time. )
this carried over to fairy tail, and now the water mage often finds herself tense when someone suddenly appears behind her, and is quick to startle.
okay, so with my juvia, i headcanon her to be biromantic asexual. she feels a bit shy and embarrassed about her orientation, and so never really speaks about it. ( because a lot of people talk about how sex is normal, and how much fun it is and stuff? she feels very offput about speaking up that she doesn’t necessarily find it pleasing )
i’m also going to say that anything “sexual” juvia may have referred to or said in the manga is completely void here. i just don’t see it fitting her character to be sexually attracted to people. romantically attracted? of course. she isn’t sex repulsed, either.
she’d just much rather cuddle and do couple things, and just be comfortable instead of doing all the sexual things? she looks for a romantic partner who can stay with her long term, instead of a person who wants to just have sex. if this is making sense?
