words alone send chills down her spine, body noticeably tensing as forgotten ( or repressed ) memories resurface. MONSTER was the first word that came to mind about him. disgust was the next. yet she couldn’t even begin to express her distaste for such a cruel person ( a part of her was still terrified about consequences she would face if he somehow happened to overhear the conversation ). she didn’t want to express it. because she had hidden everything he had done to her for such a long time, it felt almost taboo at this point to bring it up.
